I wish my printer had a button that said "ignore the freaking settings, assume I want to print this from the tray that has paper in, not any of the others" :(
Well, to be fair, it has one tray and one manual feed, which is reasonably sensible: I can imagine printing labels or something where manual feed was the only sensible choice. But I made the mistake of using a label mail merge in word because I wanted a convenient layout of 10 items per A4 page, but then couldn't work out which of Word, the driver, or the printer was stuck on requiring labels only, and I couldn't find a way of resetting it to print on actual A4.
