It's winter. The skin on my hands gets cracked. It doesn't hurt, but looks rather odd. Should I be using some sort of moisturising thing? If so, what?

You don't want cracked skin on your hands. What if you have to squeeze a lemon?

I like Neutrogena's hand creme, but I don't know if you have it there. Also, it's not cheap. And if you wet your hands, it gets slick. But it definitely works.

I'd drop in to a pharmacist and get a bottle of generic emollient cream, which should be cheaper than most branded things and do what you want. Or vaseline, if you don't find that too greasy.

The best moisturiser I've used is Doublebase, which is what Alec is prescribed for his eczema. You can get it without out a prescription by asking a pharmacist.
