Magic: UU Counterspells

Huh. For ages, the convention for magic design & development has been that any card that says "counter target spell" without any restrictions on what sort of spell it can target, needs to cost two blue mana. Everyone has got so used to it, they jump on any amateur design that doesn't follow the rule.
Now, wizards have gone ahead and made a hard counter (one better than "Cancel"), costing blue and black.
I guess I can go back and make my four-colour "exile target permanent or spell" card now :)
