After building up a fairly large buffer for my aim of averaging going to the gym 2.5 times a week, this week was the least successful since I started. I felt really tired all week, and managed to go swimming twice, but not jogging (when I'd said the minimum I'd do was one of each). But I still feel pretty good, that it's enough that the worst I've done is still fairly good, and like that's a low point, not a decline.
And I was really glad I went today, I was feeling rather strung out after work and just wanted to flop, but I predicted I would feel better after swimming and I was right.
