Where might my virgin media remote have hidden itself?
I had it last week, but I think I left it on the table and my cleaner (or landlord?) put it the "obvious" place but I can't work out where that is. It's not by the TV nor the other remotes. I don't THINK I packed it...

Date: 2013-07-07 01:12 pm (UTC)Then it could go "beep" every so often if not exposed to light for, say, 48 hours. The pattern of beeps that would maximise battery life, minimise annoyance and maximise locatability, on the other hand, would be non-obvious.

Date: 2013-07-07 11:38 pm (UTC)Maybe remote controls should have a wifi option, then (a) you can ping them and tell them to buzz to tell you where they are and (b) if you lose them, you can just control your TV from your computer, instead of having to try to buy a new remote...?
