Fantastic! (Invitation, tonight)
Jul. 22nd, 2005 12:42 pmFrom a friend:
Q. I'm not too sure about Fantastic 4 though, it looks like Marvel are just systematically raking over their back catalogue for any possible profit-making movies.
A. Sounds good to me.
From metaquotes:
A. *watches Angelina Jolie in Mr and Mrs Smith*
A. That's funny. I wasn't lesbian *yesterday*
Mr and Mrs was surprisingly good. It made no sense of course -- two large assassination firms seem to be divided totally into (a) two people who are immune to bullets and (b) 200 mooks. But it was funny. And it started wonderfully: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie being pedantic and snippy to a marriage councillor, how can you go wrong?
Anyway, to assuage work-doom:
Fantastic Four, tonight, 6.00, vue, book your own ticket (soon, it's just come out), dinner at chilli's afterward Anyone interested?
Madagscar Possibly tomorrow, it depends.
Update: There's another Pride and Prejudice and it doesn't have Colin Firth in. Nooooo! <- I am Bridget Jones. OTOH, it has Judi Dench! :)
