Weekend plans -- Beer, Debauchery, and Firefly watching

Tonight

Probably go home, have an early night, and perhaps examine my bike and see if there's anything obviously wrong. Thanks to everyone who offered advice on the bike, or bike shops, and who fought my ignorance at all.

Not stopping peddling every time to change gear could be a cause. The breaks and mudguards are not rubbing. There was nothing obvious rubbing on the axel, and even without the chain and held in the air, the wheel isn't free to turn. The gear wire goes in and out of the hub, and did change gears after the crunch before I was forced to dismount.

Friday evening

Beer festival, I think. Who else is going?

Saturday

Not sure, probably debauchery :)

Having a few people over for dinner and Firefly.

Yup, it was Jennie. Still, as I keep telling everyone, I have been reading about alcohol abuse which means that I am currently thinking about reducing my regular intake. Plus, we may be going to the Maypole afterwards. *bounces*

No, no, no. The maypole is an inevitability, but a *plan* is to go to the festival in the afternoon, and the maypole in the evening. Duh :)
