I had a night in! And I'm going to have an early night!

I saw quantum leap on real telly again. It was the trapeze artists episode, which I remembered. It was a very nice show. When they were doing the final catch, it actually made me nervous -- which is strange, as why should I be, when I'd seen it before and knew what was going to happen? Why?

I saw Due South. It is very sweet, though I can see it might become cloying. It's the sort of something else/comedy that feels like cheating, but I like the way everything is completely deadpan with a sense of irony. And it's lovely to see someone who's completely nice, but is pleasant, competent, humorous and successful with it, instead of being boring and the bad boy being the cute one. He reminded me a lot of Spock.

2 fast 2 furious. Why do supposedly professional drivers spin their wheels when starting a race? Does angularly-accelerating the wheels faster really have more effect than going slightly slower and making use of static friction to move the car relative to the ground?

Due South is the BEST THING EVER. Seriously. I bought the first series on DVD when it came out last week--you can borrow it if you like when I've finished watching it. Oh, my love for Fraser <3<3<3

Ooh. Maybe. Though I've got too much other stuff I want to watch but don't have time.

You could invite people to a dinner and due south watching evening (at mine, if you lack a large room with a tv) :)
