The Round

Is it sensible to keep some pot noodles at work? I do end up staying at work sometimes, and it's better to have something reasonably like food, rather than having some crisps.

But for the first time, I went along to the Round. It was fun. I hadn't realised how much I'd missed having some physical musical activity. I did all the dances ok, and sensibly considered mods to two dances.

I'm still a bit shy at meeting large crowds of people I don't know, but Sally and Susan and Matthew and Rachel were lovely as always, and lots of organised girls and bearded or exuberent men I recognised from ceilidhs.

Aaah! I had too much slimy m&cheese at school, it was years before I liked cheese that was melted, and I'm still leery of pure melted cheese and macaronicheese. I don't think I could :) Though some other things in a can would work.

Me too. I can't eat the stuff in tins with extra cheese on, or uber-cheesy pizza, or cheese on toast. My digestive system shrivels up and threatens to cause me pain if it sees them. With its, er, secret digestive system eyes.

Hah, same here. And as a veggie I'm always being given cheese. I can just about manage sliced cheese on toast, though, with ketchup on. But eww. Cheese.

The thing is, I actually do like cheese a lot, just am put off by lots of melted stuff. I don't fancy cheese on toast, though have managed trinity's rarebit, but like pizza.

Yes! And they never, ever take things out of the oven before it's become plastic on top, and it's always cheddar, and sometimes mixed with breadcrumbs, so you can't even pull the plastic cheese off without taking half the actual food with it. Ew. And people wonder why I avoid canteens and formal dinners.
