That was a lovely day, though not really lending itself to blogging. Weddings and ceilidh are great, I'm really tired and will likely spend tomorrow relaxing. Here's to Sally and Matthew!
My cousin Susie and her husband Mark thought of it, neatly sidestepped all the jokes, and handed out wedding favours with Skittles and M&Ms in. With S and M on the sweets, obviously :)
Someone had written "To M and S" instead of S&M[1] which just avoided the thing so easily. My brain should have worked that one out at some point... :)
There should be a verb, to S&M-wed someone :)
[1] Why *do* they always come in that order? Does it sound better? Does it represent some sort of sequence in a philosophical journey? Is it just to avoid confusion with Marks & Sparks?
[1] Well, sado-masochism is easier to compound than the other way round, so I guess the initilialisation reflects that or something :) Though I like the sequence in a philosophical journey argument ;)

Date: 2006-05-08 09:21 am (UTC)I felt I should include the philosophical journey. Though I'm not at all sure any tendancy to move would be in that direction.
