Look what I did - Graveyard Shift, Last Chapter

Here's the end of the story. It's a bit shorter than the other chapters, just a couple of scenes wrapping things up. But we get to see Lu Tze on stage, and Vimes and Nobby again, and Lady Ramkin and Sara make an appearance.

Event - Few days holiday with mum (NO EMAIL)

I've moved into my new house (32 Acrefield Drive) and handed my key in to Trinity. I am *no longer* at university. Except I physcially am right now because I have a key card for the next year so can use the college computers for a bit and set my laptop up in the common room.

I haven't unpacked yet -- I need to do stuff like buying planks and making bookshelves. But I've sorted out the most urgent of the utilities, following the left hand wall through various automated phone menus and conversations with dumb-sounding welshmen. (Notice I'm not saying he *was* dumb, or that *msot* welshmen sound dumb, but that he was both. And somehow any heavy accept seems to help the dumbness, especially if there's a lot of background noise.)

I'm going on holiday for a couple of days with mum *right now*. We'll look for a B&B on the east coast, and be back on thu or fri. (I may or may not be out counter-circle. Anyone can run White Wyvern if they want.)

Apologies to rochvelleth, Naath, Risa and anyone else I owe email or LJ comment replies to, I've been moving all weekend and the new house doesn't have email. I'll reply when I come back. If you want to contact me before friday, use my mobile. Postcards will be sent to anyone texting me their address.

I'm just glad I managed to put up the last chapter of my story before I left.

Invitation - HOUSEWARMING 9TH OCTOBER

Subject to approval by the third housemate there will be a housechristening party on the 9th of October.^[1] If you're on my friends list you're welcome to come, but I'll do more specific invites later, including directions. There will also be $housemate[2] and also $housemates[1] with half a dozen friends or so.

It was going to be the weekend before but that seems really busy. I really hope this isn't clashing with anything; if so sort a date out amongst yourselves in comments before I come back.

There will be mead and hugging and mao and meeting my housemates and a celebration of the new term. Who wants to come?

[1] That is, the saturday after the Tolkien Readthrough Cast Party. I think I have the date right, but it's that saturday.

PS. I'm off right... *now*; I won't see any spodding until friday probably.
