Picnic Meme this Sunday

"This is a picnic meme. There will be an LJ picnic on Jesus Green, Cambridge, UK on Sunday the 14th of May, from around 2pm. We'll meet toward the town end of Jesus Green, by Lower Park Street. Nobody is organising this; it'll just happen. Please turn up, be sensible, bring food and drink, meet new people, have fun."

Help, it's beginning to mutate! A cosmic ray took out "be sensible" entirely. Who knows what sort of event, where or when we'll turn up to if it goes on changing at this rate. Mutant picnic!

Monday and Friday meme

Hey, it's working! I'm now blogging how I feel, which I would otherwise have ignored and let distract me from work all day.

* I feel good. I've done lots of good things this week, and spent time with lots of nice people.
* Next week looks quieter[1]. Same social stuff, but fewer little jobs I feel I must have time for but add up to too much work, so I should be relaxeder.
* However, there were a couple of things I was going to do tonight and tomorrow that I don't quite know what's happening or if I'll go, so I'm certainly doing something, but feeling I should be working out what wasn't letting me concentrate on anything else. But recongising that lets me reduce it to "email these people, and do this at these times depending what happens" makes it certain again, so ok.
* I am about to go outside again, where I'm generally more relaxed and hence more productive. I then may have a localhost->wireless->firewall->proxy->ircserver connection, God bless Simon :)
