I am considering a christmas party, hopefully on the 18th November (two weeks last saturday). I know a few friends are busy then, does anyone know if that's a particularly bad date (ie. there would be a better one :)).

If it seems ok, I'll invite people (anyone on my friendslist, or anyone I know is likley to be very welcome, even if I don't know you well).

I was going to comment on why it might be a terrible weekend as there are two other things I might be doing, or might be a good weekend if I find myself wanting to be in the North of England on the Sunday, but then I realised I'm mostly scared of parties anyway

*hug* It would be lovely to see you. And you're obviously very welcome. But surely meeting for coffee is both easier and more enjoyable than trying to get here for a party? :)

Whatever you want, my dear. Though, you're very welcome to come *here* and use my spare bed and wireless and drink real proper free tasty jack coffee -- I just thought when there was a party on might not be the most efficient time for you to do so, depending whether you currently feel the you don't socialise enough with (a) lots of geeks or (b) good friends :)

I think I heard of this socialising thing somewhere. Isn't it meant to be like IRC and LJ, but in 3-D? Imagine that.

The content can be questionate but the rendering is amazing. And as for the force-feedback, very pleasurable.
