jack* I woke up this morning to a string of half-a-dozen birthday messages, and one from okcupid. I still don't expect that, but it was really sweet, thanks to everyone who did.
* Tonight I'm going to the Carlton. Like the assignment of holidays, I think I'm starting to think in terms of "The day itself for family; the nearest non-weekday-evening for old friends; the Saturday for everyone" :)
* Tomorrow I'm going out for dinner with some friends. Last year I think was the start of the tradition of doing something else as well as a party.
* On Saturday is my party, to which I hope to see as many people as possible.
* I'd forgotten, at least one person apparently shares my Birthday -- happy birthday Rosy! Feel free to come and celebrate with me on sat if you want :)
