In a comment, give one (or, if you must, three) words that all describe me as completely as possible.

If you want, put this in your own journal to see what everyone thinks of you.

It was meant to be :)

*sulks* But what if I don't want everyone to do me, just you?

*dies* OK, so today is the day to be writing porn then...

Aww, thanks.

*sulks* But what if I don't want everyone to do me, just you?

Oh, ok. Ummm: "Bouncy", "Floopy", "Beautiful", "Friendly"?

*dies* OK, so today is the day to be writing porn then...

*snork* I swear, until I read that I hadn't noticed the last line at all! But now I found it oh too funny! :)

My job isn't quite that generous. Though my testing board does have a camera, it'd take some work to make it a webcam.

But you can remember? Well, imagine me just slightly thinner than that, that's me :)

Because of the sheer awfulness of your pun :)

Shouldn't you be baseballbatting *me* then?

Me? Violent? Never

Plus, the frying pan incident ended up in tears :)

Torpedoes... armed.

Hmm. What's the exact phrasing they use?

Q. What does someone with a torpedo call that?
A. Whatever she wants!

Sorry, but you actually get the simple pole/complex plane joke, instead of just telling it :)

That's like first year stuff, isn't it? :)

Yeah, but I never got any of the post-first year jokes!

Well, pure mathmos seem to like puns more. If you applied mathmos thought up fluid dynamics puns *we'd* be out in the cold.

What's disturbing is the ones that seem to be phd-level. Who *gets* those? :)

About two people, who laugh very loudly and scare everyone else.

Though that might explain some of our lectures

LOL.

*has the horrible feeling I might be one of those people* :)

phd students, silly.

Well, yeah.

What I was actually going for but didn't express well is things like the 'arf, arf' joke require a knowledge of knot theory that I was never officially taught, and yet everyone seems to pick up from somewhere. It requires either mathematically knowlegably laymen, maths-joke-loving laymen, or phd students with a sense of humour, not of which are common :)

what's the arf arf joke?

I know lots of knot theory, really.
