Dear Body,

For a long time I thought living 10.00am to 2.00am was a dealbreaker to you, and I was very gratified to see that as long as I could give you reasonable assurances of (a) still having time to do fun stuff tomorrow if we went to bed at midnight and (b) the first deadline in the morning not being too depressing, you were very happy to live 8.00am to 12.00am, so thank you so much! And I like so much about you, I like your smile, I like your cuddliness, I like the way you don't keep breaking down!

But having persuaded you to get up at 8, it's ok to have a lie in at the weekend. It is not necessary to say "you made me get up at 8.00 all week, so now we'll see how you like it" or after we stayed up till 1.30 coding, at 7.30 in the morning start whispering "Install NumPy. NumPy is awesome. NuuuumPy. Get some of that linear algebra goodness..." and refuse to go back to sleep :)

Lots of love,

Jack
