I'm normally so gloriously absent minded when it comes to performing simple personal tasks that when I do something right I feel smug for no justifiable reason. I brought some of the mead order to the carlton for anyone who wanted it soon, and I brought half a dozen carrier bags for anyone who wanted it but couldn't easily carry it without. Go me :)

Now be careful or I'll tell you about the time I realised how much easier it made my life if instead of just arranging shoppings in bags by density, I also sorted it into the tertiary discrete scale of temperature.

I'd hoped to go to the round, but didn't make it, and got to Carlton only just in time to be whisked off by Stephdiary and BeckyC and SonicD to camp out on Sonic's new house's unfurnitured floor. It is pretty.

I'm used to ringing up a company and speaking to people who don't understand my english very well, and to ringing up a company and speaking to a friendly scottish lady. Ringing up a company and speaking to a a friendly scottish lady who doesn't understand my english is a new one on me :)

Mead Order

I am about to order a couple of boxes of mead for myself and for the Veizla from Moniack. If anyone would like me to add one or more bottles to my order for them and save delivery cost, please comment below. I'd rather just get mead, not anything else, to avoid much adding up.

It will cost less than £6/bottle, exactly how much depending on how much I order.

I will try to put a note on CURS/Assassins wiki, for the benefit of people who may pine for Meadith :) Anywhere else?

I aim to place the order on monday (8th).

I assume it goes without saying that if you ask for a couple of bottles I will give them to you next time I see you, and if you want many, you might as well order them yourself would have to pick them up.

I knocked off everything ominous on my to do list. I'm slightly ahead of schedule at work. I sent and received a lot of emails to nice people. I had a fun evening. I had some mead. I did a very productive 3/4hr of writing. I stopped when I had a good idea of what I wanted to do next (in terms of all of writing, email and work), went to bed. I slept for eight hours and woke up two minutes before when I'm supposed to, and woke up looking forward to getting things done today.

This is what every day is supposed to be like, but just doesn't always happen. I don't know if *everyone* manages it. Still I'm approximating it steadily better.
